About our professional organization :

The Groupement d'Intérêt Economique was originally created in 1968, under the name Groupement des Radios Taxis Caennais (GRTC). Daniel Lebrethon,  then President of the taxi-drivers union, was theinitiator of the association of fifteen owner-drivers, in order toprovide 24 hour service, which was impossible for independent drivers.

Today the organization includes fifty-nine taxis, providing 24 hour service, seven days a week in the area of Caen. As we are an association of independent owner-drivers, each passenger remains the driver’s personal customer.

All our drivers have signed an agreement establishing quality standards in order to meet the customers’ demands.

Ourcars are all equipped with satellite systems to reduce your travellingtime and minimize costs. We use high tech systems to reduce waitingperiods, our telephone dispatch system is available day and night, and a commercial department is at your disposal.
